Good Food for Real People

Life is messy. We rush around juggling work, family and activities in a relentless cycle. Everyone wants to eat perfectly, but real people aren't perfect. We need convenience to keep our sanity. That's why our story starts with real food for real people.

Years ago, our founder Jeff Glasco stood in the grocery store, surrounded by options and paralyzed by indecision. He was a man without a plan for dinner. He wanted something fresh and good, a meal outside of his weekly food rut, and had a simple thought: "I wish someone would make this easier."

Turns out, he was that someone and the result is Happy Food Co, a meal kit service to solve the everyday problem of "What's for dinner?"

In 2015, Jeff partnered with farm-to-table chef Kiersten Firquain (Chef K) to bring the vision to life. Today, the Happy Food Co. team is partnering with retailers and grocers across the country to deliver its on-demand meal kit service. Between us and our partners, we take care of the planning, shopping, measuring and chopping so real people like you can cook fresh, delicious meals at home with minimal effort.
