The Paleo diet plan recommends sticking to foods that were available during the Paleolithic era. Foods to avoid while eating Paleo: dairy, grains, legumes, potatoes, sugar, vegetable oils and processed foods.

  • Omit corn on the cob.

    • Substitute options: Paleo approved sauces/spices

  • Omit HFCo breading mix, flour, and buttermilk

    • Considering pan frying without breading, baking or grilling chicken in EVOO instead. Use own seasonings and additional Paleo approved veggies as desired.

  • Omit sheep’s milk cheese

  • Omit parmesan


Lemon Herb Chicken

  • Omit cheese curds and orzo pasta

    • Substitution options: cauliflower rice or other Paleo approved side such as sweet or white potatoes and/or veggies


Mediterranean Chicken

  • Omit feta cheese


Pan-Seared Tilapia

  • Omit HFCo Panko herb mix, flour, and parmesan

    • Consider grilling or frying without breading. Use own seasonings and EVOO as desired.


Slow Cooker Asian Pulled Pork

  • Omit jasmine rice

    • Substitution options: cauliflower rice

  • Omit HFCo sweet & spicy sauce (contains sugar)

    • Substitution options: Paleo approved spices and sweetener such as honey

  • Omit hoisin sauce (contains soy, wheat, sugar)

    • Substitution options: coconut aminos or other soy-free seasoning
