We handle the meal planning, shopping, measuring and chopping. You simply order online and pick up fresh, local meal kits in your Wellness Center. You'll have a chef-designed meal on the table in no time flat.

Frequently Asked Questions

What's in a meal kit?
Happy Food Co. meal kits include fresh, chopped, diced and measured ingredients—everything you need to cook at great meal at home. We also include easy cooking instructions for all skill levels. We source our ingredients from the finest local suppliers so you can count on freshness and quality every time you order.

How do I order?
You can order online from your computer or phone. To place an order:

     1. Set your location (search "P&L" or P&L Apartments).
     2. Select the date you want us to deliver your meal kit.
     3. Pick a meal from our chef-designed menu.
     4. Click "Order" to purchase.

We'll send you an order confirmation, followed by a delivery email when your meal kit is available for pickup at P&L.

Where and when do you deliver?
We deliver fresh meal kits by 5pm Monday, Wednesday, and Friday to the Wellness Center at the Power & Light Apartments.

When am I charged for my order?
You will provide a payment method when you place your meal kit order, but we will not charge your card until your meal kit is delivered.

How often does your menu change?
We will introduce several new menu items each month, featuring seasonal veggies and local flavors. We also keep our most popular meal kits on the menu for a period of time so you can enjoy them again and again if you choose. 

How long do meal kits stay fresh?
Every meal kit includes a "Best By" date on the box label so you know how many days you can hold ingredients in your fridge before you need to cook them.

What if I need to cancel my meal kit order?
You can cancel your meal kit order up until midnight on the day before delivery. Simply log into your account at and go to your Order Queue at the top of the page to cancel.

What if I need to change my delivery date?
The easiest way to change your delivery date is to cancel your meal kit order and place a new order with the correct delivery date. Remember, you're not charged for a meal kit until we deliver it.

What happens if I forget to pick up my meal kit?
Don't worry! Your meal kit will be waiting for you in the cooler the next day, still fresh and ready to cook. We will send you a reminder email if we see that you've forgotten to pick up your kit.
