This meal can be made with mild or medium spice level for your preference.

Step 1: Cook the Beef
SEPARATE beef into bite-sized pieces.
SPRINKLE the beef with oriental five spice. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
HEAT 2 tablespoons hot chili oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. ★For MILD, substitute regular extra virgin olive oil from your pantry for the chili oil.
ADD the seasoned beef and cook, turning once, to desired doneness. Remove from heat and transfer cooked beef to a large bowl.
Step 2: Sauté the Veggies
WARM the extra virgin olive oil packets in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
STIR in the red onion, bell peppers, and snow peas, and sauté until crisp-tender, about 3–5 minutes.
MIX in the cabbage and sauté another 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
TRANSFER to a large bowl and cover with a lid to steam.
Step 4: Sauté the Broccoli
WARM the remaining hot chili oil in the same large skillet over medium-high heat. ★For MILD, use HALF of the hot chili oil provided in your kit.
ADD the broccoli and sauté until they begin to brown but are still bright green and crisp-tender. Add more olive oil packets if needed.
STIR in the garlic and ginger, and remove from heat.
Step 4: Serve & Enjoy!
ADD the sautéed broccoli, basil, and green onion to the beef and sautéed veggies. Stir to combine.
SERVE and enjoy with chopsticks!
